Expert Site Preparation

Our Experts are ready to design and prepare your site. No job is too big or too small –excavation, stone pads, concrete slabs and piers, patios, walkways, custom designer pavers and blocks, retaining walls, old shed removal and demolition.

Crushed Stone Pad

Using 3/4 2-b crushed stone 3-6 inches thick is a great base for any structure. It provided drainage, reduces trapped moisture and keeps your structure clean and dry.

Concrete Pad

Concrete pads need to be 4-6 inches thick and are ideal for larger structures and more permanent sited.  Pad size should be exact to structure size.

Concrete Piers

Piers are good for sites with steeper slopes which are out of level 18" or greater.  8" and 12" diameter piers should be sunk 36" and fastened to corners with straps.  The size of the structure will determine how any piers are needed.

Cedar Grove is not responsible for permits.  CALL YOUR LOCAL TOWNSHIP FOR PERMITS AND REQUIREMENTS. If needed can provide you with additional info from your local township.

“The shed pad is the unsung hero of the backyard building project. Though, often gone unnoticed; the shed pad insures that your shed will withstand the test of time”

  1. Level Ground
A level and durable foundation is an essential part of every structure. The expertise of our excavators allows us to prepare your inclined or uneven yard for a level, durable shed pad. Inclined yards can be built up with pressure treated timbers, or beautiful landscaping block.
  2. Firm Foundation
Our shed pads are built to protect the structure it supports. Each foundation is given a distinct and sturdy perimeter using 4x6 pressure treated timbers, or with our attractive landscaping block. Five inches of clean stone fills in as the foundation, providing excellent drainage and firm support.
  3. Solid Investment
Now that your shed pad is complete, you have a foundation that will not only support physical but also support an ideal environment from which you can easily place your own personal touches. This will turn your shed from a building into an experience that will enhance the look and feel of your backyard.
